Free NHS Blood Pressure Checks

 Free NHS Blood Pressure (BP) checks are available to anyone over 40 years old. 

Furthermore, if we find you have raised blood pressure we can book you an appointment to have an ambulatory blood pressure monitor fitted at the pharmacy. 

An ambulatory blood pressure monitor is worn by you for up to 12 hours and it records your BP throughout the day and an average reading can be calculated. 

A full report of all readings is provided to you and your GP.
